A Response to Gospel Broadcasting Network About Covenant Eschatology, i.e. The AD 70 Doctrine

Be sure – absolutely sure – to not miss the Q and A session of the Preterist Pilgrim Weekend, on July 15, 2017! Here is why…

As you know, I had a formal public debate on June 15-16, 2017, with Dr. David Hester of Faulkner University, in Montgomery, Alabama. Subsequent to that debate, the members of the Gospel Broadcasting Network, a church of Christ television program, discussed the “AD 70 Doctrine.” The three members of the discussion board on the program supposedly examined the tenets of Covenant Eschatology and offered their “refutation” of this doctrine. Lamentably, to say that their discussion was off base, mis-representative, and ill-informed is a huge understatement!

So, on Saturday, July 15, 2017, in lieu of the normal Q and A session we will have our panel of The Five, consisting of Daniel Rogers, Michael Sullivan, Holger Neubauer, William Bell and myself. We will examine the comments of the GBN spokesman and show, from scripture, how horribly illogical, un-scriptural, and false their eschatological paradigm truly is, and how Covenant Eschatology answers their claims.

This should be a lively discussion, needless to say. And, to make it even better, viewers can submit their questions during our discussion. Those questions will be in written form, via the internet, and will be screened (for appropriateness– but not with respect to difficulty. Thoughtful questions will be more than welcomed). We will do our best to address as many relevant, respectful and scriptural questions as time permits.

If you are interested in “the rest of the story” don’t miss this discussion! It will be on Saturday morning, July 15, and will be live streamed on my FaceBook page, on PRIVideos on FaceBook, and on other venues, including www.eschatology.org.
