Virtually all commentators agree that Jesus’ parables of the Wedding Feast, the killing of the servants sent to invite those who had been invited, and the ensuing destruction of the city of those violent servants, was a prediction of the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70.
So, why do those same commentators ignore the fact that in Revelation, God had sent His servants to Babylon, she killed them, and then God destroyed Babylon, and the Wedding took place? This incontrovertible connection establishes the date of Revelation, as well as the theme– the coming of Christ for his Wedding at the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70
I just posted a short video on this important theme, and, I develop this motif extensively in my book Who Is This Babylon, which is available from this website. Take a look at the video and pass it on!
